As an IT System Administrator, you will be reporting to the IT manager. You will work with a team that provides industry-leading technology at the intersection of AI, computer vision, and computational imaging. We address mission-critical requirements for the automotive autonomous vehicle and robot, and surveillance markets that are moving at an incredible pace of innovation across the globe.

Your main responsibility is to keep the computing environments running smoothly and efficiently at our different locations. You will have to monitor the software and network infrastructures for any problems and proactively implement new IT processes and architectures in support of business requirements.

As a sysadmin, you will act mostly as a second-level support resource for employee requests and issues raised. You will interact with employees from all departments and levels, some without advanced technical skills, and you must be able to communicate patiently and effectively.

Key responsibilities:

Maintain/monitor computing and networking infrastructures
Troubleshoot servers, desktop, and laptop.
Triaging and responding to requests from users
Maintain procedures and tasks documentation
Design and implement new IT processes and architectures in support of business requirements
Deliver on IT roadmap projects under your responsibility in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:

College diploma in a related field or an equivalent combination of education
5 years of experience in a Linux System Administrator role.
Bilingual – French and English (spoken and written) is mandatory to support Algolux team members around the world.
Excellent knowledge of Linux/Ubuntu administration
Good knowledge of network management and troubleshooting in a multi-site configuration
Experience troubleshooting high-level software and hardware problems.
Experience with monitoring platforms, e.g. Zabbix, ELK stack, etc
Experience in Windows Active Directory infrastructure
Experience with virtualization and containerization
Experience with configuration management systems such as Ansible (or similarly Chef, Puppet, or Salt)
After hours and weekend availability to work on a rotating “on-call” schedule.
Desirable:

Experience with queuing systems
Experience with large scale storage infrastructure
Familiarity with a collaborative platform like GitLab
Experience with Python
Experience in Google suites, Office 365
Experience in MacOS system administration

Installer et configurer le matériel et les composants logiciels Linux.

Maintenir la documentation des procédures et des tâches

Exigences :

Expérience avec le système d’exploitation Linux, idéalement Ubuntu
Diplôme collégial dans un domaine connexe ou une combinaison équivalente d’études et de 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle de soutien technique.
Une très bonne connaissance de l’administration de Linux/Ubuntu est nécessaire pour accomplir vos tâches.
Le bilinguisme – français et anglais (parlé et écrit) est obligatoire pour soutenir les membres de l’équipe Algolux dans le monde entier.
Expérience dans le dépannage de problèmes de logiciels, de matériel et de réseaux de base.
Expérience avec les plateformes de surveillance, par exemple Zabbix, Kibana, etc.

We are looking for an accomplished and passionate Director of Product Marketing to shape and evangelize breakthrough computer vision and image optimization software products from Algolux to significantly improve the safety of Automotive ADAS and Automated Driving in all conditions.

As the product marketing leader, you will bring a strong hands-on set of technical, marketing, and communications skills plus domain expertise in automotive, computer vision, imaging, and machine learning. This role will be a critical interface to Algolux’s prospects, customers, investors, analysts and internal teams such as Sales, Product Management, and Engineering, etc.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing and Strategic Alliances, you will also play a key role in making decisions that help guide our product roadmap, influence future product strategy, and drive our go-to-market strategy, tactics, and content. In short, we expect a successful candidate to have a massive visible impact.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with customers and our product management to define Algolux product offering, priorities, and roadmaps.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that leverages our business and technical differentiators further competitive advantage, establish defensible market positions, shorten path to revenue
  • Develop and deploy compelling management and engineering-level product content focused on Automotive ADAS and Automated Driving across multiple channels that clearly articulate customer value, position our competitive advantage, and describe our technical capabilities
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitive landscape to ensure Algolux can continue to build and communicate key differentiators and identify opportunities for future growth.
  • Define buyer and use cases. Articulate and prioritize buyers and their problems so that the appropriate presentations, playbooks, and demos are constructed to assist sales and provide valuable market feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Help execute external communication and initiatives that reflect business objectives and reinforce Algolux’s unique company culture, mission, and values.
  • Support relationships with customers, media, partners, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Support key business priorities throughout our teams, including partnering with leadership on strategic initiatives

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience in computer vision and imaging technologies
  • Experience in embedded computer vision and machine learning with track record in Automotive ADAS and Automated Driving perception
  • Proven success working in nascent disruptive technologies and in startup / growth organizations
  • Strong functional skills and business background; capable of building out use cases for product content and demos and interfacing with customers, prospects, and sales
  • Strong knowledge of software and machine learning technologies
  • Must be resourceful, creative, able to brainstorm and implement new ideas
  • Outstanding communication and customer content development skills: oral, written, creative, multimedia, etc.
  • Demonstrated success partnering across business organizations to define and achieve results
  • Excellent project management and decision-making skills; ability to execute high-quality programs with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Education: STEM degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) preferred, but not required. MBA or equivalent experience a plus
