Ashley HomeStore Canada – The Dufresne Group is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for our Calgary Distribution Centre located at Bay 65-5805 76th Avenue SE.
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing counsel and the highest quality of HR support to managers and regional teams, including health and safety. You will coach and support management with the administration of TDG Human Resources policies, procedures and initiatives and work closely with the rest of the HR team in areas of talent acquisition, retention and talent development, employee relations and engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management and overall legal compliance.

As a HR Business Partner, you will:
Foster and drives team member engagement through the management of HR programs, policies, and initiatives, including WCB, Disability and HR related training, reports and follow up.
Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention, and reduce turnover.
Provide Employee Relations support including the interpretation of human resource policies and procedures as they relate to team members and Company objectives.
Counsel management and resolve employee relations and performance management issues in the day-to-day. If required, conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations and providing recommendations for conflict/issue resolution.
Promote Health and Safety by ensuring compliance, partnering with operational management to implement a solution when a concern is brought up and administering training completion across locations. Liaise with regulatory authorities.
Build, own, and execute recruitment strategies to find talented team members to support ongoing requirements and new store growth.
Manage the administration of Human Resource programs including analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Leading change and accompanying management through it.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Provide input and advice on budget preparation as well as managing activities to ensure that the HR department is on track with the established guidelines.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the HR function leading to the enhancement of the team member value proposition of TDG.
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
Post-secondary degree in business or human resource management, with 5+ years Human Resources experience in an advisory or management capacity or equivalent combination is required.
Knowledge of current HR policies & practices including knowledge of employment laws.
CPHR designation or working towards the designation.
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs.
Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication and presentation skills are essential.
Adaptable and ready to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
Must be a self-starter and effective problem solver.
Ability to travel as required.

Job Description
As a Ecommerce Specialist, you will:
- Own and manage the promotions process online – coordinating with marketing, merchandising and development teams to build, publish, QA test and audit web development activity for accuracy and functionality.
- Work with cross-functional teams to execute promotions and merchandising functions online.
- Adjust and publish webpages and/or custom category pages to coincide with ongoing marketing, features, and promotional material.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with 2 websites, plus additional internal web properties and assets management systems.
- Track performance metrics to identify trends across products, categories, landing pages and present ideas for future improvement/development.
- Coordinate the delivery of copy and creative assets to our website.
- Review and update existing collection and information pages to include the most up to date promotion and merchandising information and features.
- Responsible for authoring content by selecting templates, components and modules, and adding/editing content (copy, images, video, tagging, SEO metadata) to compose web content based on digital brand guidelines and needs.
- Manage and appropriately test any ongoing website enhancements while working with internal staff and supporting technology partners for successful implementations of new initiatives or features.
- Oversee standard website order & return operations so that customer transactions work as expected:
- Responsible for processing internal/visitor feedback and report on concerns or issues with regards to product updates, own the items that require fixing and ensure they are fixed immediately or through collaboration with other departments escalating via service requests.
As a successful candidate you will have the following:
- 2+ years of web specific experience in design, content management, merchandising or administration.
- Previous experience with eCommerce platforms or CMS is a must with the ability to use drag and drop page builders to create/edit landing pages.
- Experienced in merchandising products on an eCommerce platforms.
- Must be familiar with Google Analytics and be tech-savvy.
- High-Intermediate use of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator preferred
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and practices.
- Experience using Shopify considered an asset, and Shopify Plus with tools like Flow, Scripts, Launchpad, metafields is a bonus.
- Demonstrate the company’s core competencies and willingness to self-train and learn new tools and applications.
- Knowledge of HTML required, with JSON, XML, RUBY is an asset but not required.
