Job Description

Financial Analyst

1. Identification
Title: Financial analyst
Department: Finance
Title of immediate superior: Chief, financial analysis Position
status: Permanent

2. Job Summary
Under the authority of the Head, Financial Analysis, the incumbent is responsible for gathering,
analyzing and disseminating financial information within the company.
3. Main responsibilities
Prepare and present monthly various analyzes for the presentation of the
financial statements of the business units by explaining the variances compared to the budgets and
the previous year;
Analyze and understand the origin of transactions relating to the ERP system,
consolidation and subsystems;
Diagnose problems and resolve issues arising from
operational and accounting systems in the various external sites;
Responsible for monitoring the production of accounting information based on agreements
with certain clients (discounts and other agreements);
Analyze and prepare various financial reports, of all kinds, according to the
different requests and needs expressed;
Support the Chief Financial Analyst in the management and documentation of various projects
within the company;
Support the accounting team in their work (payable, receivable and analyst).
Prepare various monthly reports (profitability analysis, financial report, Statistics
Canada, etc.);
Participate in the development of the company’s budgets;
Provide support during statutory and other audits;
Perform any other related task requested by his immediate superior or required by
his duties.

4. Requirements
Hold an undergraduate university degree in accounting as well as
a CPA accounting designation;
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting / financial analysis;
Strong experience in the use of an ERP (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, JDE), experience
with JDE is an asset;
Possess advanced level Excel expertise;
Experience in a manufacturing company is an asset;
Have an interest in the understanding and interaction of different systems and subsystems;
Essential bilingualism.

Demonstrates an analytical mind so as to gain an excellent understanding of all
financial situations presented;

2. Job Summary

Under the authority of the Sales/Marketing Director, the incumbent actively participates in the
development of Bitumar’s business by establishing and maintaining solid business relationships
with customers. It promotes and maximizes the visibility of the company’s products.

3. Main Responsibilities
• Manage client accounts;

Develop new business opportunities;
• Participate in the development and implementation of sales strategies;
• Develop strong and personal relationships with clients;
• Represent Bitumar in different activities and associations;
• Comply with the policies and use the tools in place;
• Collaborate with managers and employees of other departments to ensure that
the company is well prepared to take advantage of interesting business opportunities

• Perform any other related tasks requested by his immediate superior or

4. Requirements

• Possess a college and/or university degree;
