As a member of the Digital Analysis and Resilience Centre (DARC), the Senior Offensive Security/Penetration tester LEAD will provide leadership of our offensive security offering and will apply their expert knowledge to:
•Advise on all technical aspects of penetration testing and assist in the development of tools, reporting templates, estimate of proposed engagements, and the development of an effective penetration tool set;
•Provide expert-level penetration testing services, in conventional or cloud environments;
•Work with our clients to understand their vulnerabilities and risks so that they can undertake effective mitigation efforts;
•Be a strong problem solver and communicator. You will also play a key role in working with CGI cybersecurity, business and technology teams to select, present and estimate the cost of penetration testing services to meet clients’ specific requirements.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
•As the key owner, lead the continued development of first-class penetration testing capabilities;
•Conduct penetration testing activities for our clients, either alone, or as lead tester of a small team;
•Contribute to client presentations and meetings to discuss proposed penetration testing capabilities and/or how CGI’s capabilities will address the clients’ needs;
•Propose, examine and assist in the acquisition and development of suitable penetration testing tools to ensure the delivery of quality services to our clients;
•Interface with, and exchange ideas and contribute to mutual support with other CGI penetration testing teams across the world;
•Maintain an ongoing awareness of trends in penetration testing technology, as well as target environment technologies and regulatory requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
•Minimum of 3 years work experience related to conducting Offensive Security activities;
•Experience leading a team;
•Experience interfacing with clients, including report review and effort estimation/scoping;
•Experience working on multiple pen test types e.g. network infrastructure, web app, cloud services, etc.;
•A sound knowledge of coding and scripting, e.g. Bash, PowerShell, Perl, Python, Ruby, etc.;
•Must be able to work independently and as part of a team;
•Ability to speak, write and communicate clearly, effectively and correctly in fluent English is particularly important.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
The Observability platform Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the tooling that makes up the platform as well as working with the teams that consume the platform.
This individual needs to be able to comfortably interact with development teams, product owners and business stakeholders in order to develop a service that can meet their needs by prioritizing and developing new features and integrations.
The platform engineer will also play a consulting role to development and operations teams, helping them to create meaningful telemetry, creating operational readiness checklists and automating tasks.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• Client Relationship & Business Development
• 3+ years experience designing, implementing and managing one or more of the following monitoring platforms
o App Dynamics
o DataDog
o Sensu
o New Relic
• 3-5 years designing, deploying and managing one or more of the following
o Graphite
o Prometheus
o TICK stack
• 3-5 years designing, deploying and managing log aggregation solutions with either Elastic Stack or Splunk
• Proficiency in at least one high level programing language used for automation – Python, Ruby, GO, etc
• Experience developing monitoring integrations into ServiceNow, PagerDuty, Slack and Microsoft Teams
• 3-5 years experience as a system administrator in a predominantly RedHat LINUX environment
• Proficiency with at least one of the following configuration management tools – Chef, Puppet, Ansible
• Understanding of application development and deployment practices, primarily in Java
• Experience with monitoring large scale containerized applications
• 3+ years developing and designing dashboards in Grafana, Kibana, Tableau or equivalent
