Job Description

POSITION

HRBP will provide HR services to designated P&C brands under the support of BPC HR management.

70% allocation to brand(s): Dedicated to brand’s team and support to the business in executing effective retail manpower placement and remuneration strategies. Implement different Brand HR projects to attract and retain talents.

30% with BPC HR: HRBP carries out all the HR project and ad hoc job duties to ensure smooth operation.

  • Provide full spectrum HR advisory and operational support to Brand teams on various HR aspects including recruitment & selection, employee relations, remuneration & benefits, performance management, HR projects and reports, etc.
  • Formulate sourcing strategies in talent attraction and recruitment
  • Support Field (Beauty Consultant) staffing needs and participate in recruitment campaign such as recruitment day / campus recruitment
  • Manage recruitment workflow, process job posting and establish an effective recruitment channel and talent pool for the sake of cost saving and enhance efficiency
  • Develop up-to-date market remuneration and benefits package summary for management review
  • Analyze and review salary package (vs. Competitors and vs. internal)
  • Drive HR projects in developing employer branding and loyalty
  • Handle staff on-boarding and off-boarding formalities (incl. induction program, pulse check and exit interviews)
  • Lead and organize annual exercise for designated brands including OMR, PCR, ICR and staff cost budgets
  • Champion and execute different initiatives and requests from brands’ HQ on organization review, talent development, digital acceleration and CSR program, etc.
  • Key contact point for designated brands’ employees on HR matters
  • Keep abreast of BC remuneration plan and reward strategy, and handle compensation enquiries
  • Support Learning and Development initiatives for BPC and P&C brands including but not limited to P&C induction program, employee engagement, talent development and wellness program for local P&C community
  • Assist in formulating P&C and HR related policies and procedures
  • Participate in ad-hoc project as assigned by local HR management to support collaboration within P&C and LVMH Group.

PROFILE

  • Degree holder with minimum 5 years relevant working experience preferably in retail industry
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proficient in MS Office Application such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Well-versed in Employment Ordinance and other Human Resources related regulations in Hong Kong and Macau
  • Sound relevant experience in field recruitment in luxury retail industry
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and able to deal with all levels of staff
  • Well-organized and eyes to details
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and under tight schedule
  • Independent, proactive and self-motivated

Job Description

Working with the Boutique Director/Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the sales team and ensuring the highest level of customer service throughout the store in line with Christian Dior expectations:

  • Maximize every sale, minimize stock losses, and bring new clients to the business
  • Open and close the boutique
  • Coach, staff, schedule, merchandise, and complete inventory
  • Ensure policies and procedures are followed in order to achieve maximum results

PROFILE

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercial Performance and Team Management:

  • Maximize sales and measure sales performance and conversion rates on a daily basis.
  • Provide and inspire outstanding service to our customers
  • Assist in assigning and monitoring sales goals of Sales Associates
  • Responsible for clientele development
  • Participate in the preparation of merchandise displays and presentations, exercising independent judgment and discretion in applying merchandising concepts and guidelines
  • Train, coach, develop, and manage sales associates in selling skills
  • Conduct and/or participate in regular store meetings to discuss performance, sales training, product knowledge, merchandising, and to convey other necessary information to management staff and associates
  • Facilitate proper communication between management and associates

Clientele Service and Management:

  • Participate in the coordination of sales promotion activities, which include seasonal sales, trunk shows, contests, including proper use of in-store signs advertising sales and promotions
  • Train the team on optimizing Capture Rate and After Sale do develop personal customer database

Product and Stock Management:

  • Gather merchandise for transfers, damages, and returns-to-vendor (RTV’s)
  • Oversee and participate in department inventories
  • Monitor proper pricing of merchandise
  • Minimize stock losses

Process Management:

  • Oversee compliance of associates with established Company policies and standards, such as safekeeping of Company funds and property, personnel practices, merchandise handling, security, sales and record-keeping procedures
  • Help solve problems that affect the department’s service, efficiency, and productivity
  • Lock and secure the store, and oversee compliance with all security procedures
  • Any other tasks as assigned from time to time

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Ability to:

  • Develop and train associates, build relationships, utilize skills of associates most appropriately
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Effectively manage sales staff toward achievement of sales and clienteling objectives
  • Manage boutique operations effectively including attendance, merchandising, and housekeeping standards

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 + years of retail experience required, preferably with at least 1 year of management, in a luxury product setting
  • Sense of initiative and commercial creativity with fashion sensitivity
  • Strong knowledge of the luxury industry with fashion sensitivity consistent with the brand
  • Demonstration of own initiative
  • Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed
  • Availability to work the hours necessary to open and/or close the store
  • Ability to maintain presence on selling floor for long periods as needed
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and follow-through skills
