What you’ll be doing
As a member of the Personal and Business Banking team, you’ll leverage your banking and mortgage experience to help clients achieve their home ownership dreams. As a Mobile Mortgage Advisor, you’ll have the flexibility to meet with your clients where and when it’s convenient for them. You’ll make lasting connections and provide expert mortgage advice and product solutions that enables clients to secure their futures and own their homes.
You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

Client engagement – Focus on the client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful. Have the flexibility to support your clients’ lifestyles and meet them on their schedule. Work with Banking Centre teams to build relationships and provide clients with personalized mortgage advice and comprehensive financial planning support.
Business development – Understand your local market and potential client base and create a sales plan that will convert leads into new CIBC clients. Use your strong relationship building and networking skills to build connections, generate opportunities, and deliver bottom line results.

What you’ll be doing
As a member of the Personal and Business Banking Team, you’ll manage and grow your dedicated client portfolio through key relationship management, creating comprehensive plans for small businesses, and delivering exceptional client service. As a Senior Financial Advisor, Business you’ll expertly deliver on CIBC’s Imperial Service approach, taking responsibility for a large portfolio, and helping clients achieve their business goals. You’ll proactively engage with many new and existing clients to make lasting connections and understand their goals, build their financial plan using advanced CIBC tools and give them the right advice to help them make well-informed choices for their future. You’re flexible to work our banking centre hours which may include evenings and weekends. To help deliver a great client experience, you’re flexible to work at multiple banking centres within a reasonable travel distance.

- You can demonstrate 2 – 3 years experience in financial advisory role managing and growing your own portfolio of clients and have expert knowledge of business products, services, governance and controls.
- You’re a certified professional (MFDA). You have current accreditation and good standing in The Canadian Securities Course (CSC)/Canadian Investments Funds Course (CIFC) and must meet eligibility requirements for MFDA licensing upon hire. Personal Financial Planner (PFP) within 24 months of hire.
- You’re a certified professional (Quebec). You have current accreditation and good standing inAMF licensing; Successful completion of Canadian Investment Funds Course (CIFC) or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) to support AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) licensing, and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC). It’s an asset if you’ve completed CSI/ICB Investment and Taxation Fundamentals Course – Quebec (0774) and CSI/ICB Legal & Ethical Aspects of Financial Planning Course (0790).
