How You’ll Succeed

Operations/Administration/Credit – Work with various teams and departments to complete the processing (start to end) of opening of deposit accounts including signing authorities and ad hoc requests (i.e. bank drafts), letters of credit documentation/issuances/amendments, VISA applications, and review and maintenance of cash management arrangements or other cash management related requests. Facilitate any letters of credit or VISA application processing with Trade Finance, CMA/CPS or Commercial Card Services ensuring items are resolved. Work closely with REFD Partners (Origination/Sales, Senior Management, Servicing, Processing) to ensure all documents are processed on a timely basis.
Collect and analyze financial information from clients for maturing commercial mortgages, annual reviews, early renewals and conversion requests for review / renewal analysis and any renewal related amendments.
In collaboration with Relationship Managers, you will assist with managing a loan portfolio to ensure all loans reviewed are adequately assessed for risk in line with established risk guidelines.
French is a mandatory requirement
Client Interaction – Review and contact clients and other 3rd party(ies) (when required) regarding various matters some of which include the following:

Administrative RIL irregularities (i.e. if instructed by RM to follow up for account excesses)
Tax confirmations
Financial statement reporting and other requirements the customer may have in their credit arrangements as directed by RMs
Customer inquiries relating to statement reconciliation
Complete Return on Regulatory Capital (RORC) calculations and provide in a timely manner
Process invoices related to legal, appraisal or other 3rd party fees through partners (CPS) or systems (Tymetrix)
Liaise with Treasury Department with respect to interest rate setting for mortgage renewals.
Negotiate with mortgage customers to renew/review mortgages consistent with REFD’s hurdle rates and ensure the required revenue/profit requirements are met.
Compliance – Ensure consistency and completion of all operational processes relating to AML and GRLR and identify non-compliance areas, document and execute corrective actions. Manage ad hoc client requests ensuring all required operational compliance issues are addressed.
