Bring your data entry and research skills to work as a Survey Clerk, to enter data for our Starts and Completions, Market Absorption Surveys and to support the data entry for our annual surveys.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensures the timely and accurate data entry of housing data for survey purposes
  • Performs the preliminary data verification in time for the survey deadlines
  • Ensures that a full complement of administrative data are received, analyzed, coded and verified for input into the survey applications
  • Oversees the quality of the data and provides timely feedback and support to field enumerators
  • Proactively conducts research (internet and external client outreach) to address information gaps
  • Work independently and work with the team to meet the data entry deadlines and data quality for all surveys
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Computer skills with Microsoft products, research techniques, and databases are required
  • Strong organizational skills, particularly the ability to organize and accurately record a high volume of data efficiently.
  • Demonstrated strong numerical aptitude with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with a remote team, to achieve strong results with minimum supervision.
  • A commitment to demonstrating CMHC values.
  • Post-secondary education with a minimum 2 years of data entry, data collection and data validation experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to support data collection
  • Knowledge of the geography of the western provinces
  • Related experience in property management and/or housing industry.

Job Description

Responsibilities: 
• Develop, in collaboration with the Program Manager and relevant stakeholders, project charters and detailed project plans that establish scope, assumptions, constraints, dependencies, deliverables, interim milestones, budget, timelines and governance.
• Define and document the objectives for each stream of the Program, determine budgetary requirements, and the composition, roles, responsibilities and terms of reference for the project teams, using the agreed project charters.
• Ensure risks are identified and documented that may affect the budget, timing and successful delivery against plan. In close collaboration with the Program Manager, the Sponsors and the Leads, ensure risk mitigation strategies are utilized to resolve issues in a timely manner. Escalate issues as appropriate, providing a recommended action plan as needed.
• Monitor progress against defined deliverables and provide regular reports to the Program Manager, the Project Management Office and to the Program Sponsors and Leads. Ensure issues are documented and addressed and that the team adheres to the agreed schedule and budget.
• Ensure that a plan for benefits realization is established with baseline measurements captured and that benefits are tracked.
• Follow and promote the use of industry best practices and CMHC project and change management methodologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Business administration, Commerce or a related discipline.
• Minimum of five years of prior relevant experience including experience managing complex, cross-functional projects.
• Certified Project Management Professional credentials
• High degree of political sensitivity and understanding of diversity, inclusion and equity
• Diplomacy, strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to build effective working relationships.
• Sound analytical skills with demonstrated ability to capture and synthesize information to develop recommendations and provide advice.
