As a Property Administrator, you will be involved in all aspects of assisting the Property Manager in Toronto. Your superior communication and organizational skills mean that you are able to respond to tenant inquiries, you exude professionalism and your customer service skills are second to none.  You also assist the property manager with regular reporting, budgets, tenant correspondence and planning of events.

What you bring

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role within commercial real estate.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities to provide high-level service to tenants needs.
  • Excellent customer service skills, proactive, results-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, excellent product quality and attention to detail.

Bonus skills and experience

  • Familiarity with real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, etc.
  • Experience with contracts and leasing agreements.
  • Passion to be in property management and a desire to transition into a Assistant Property Manager role.

What success looks like

  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with property owners, tenants, vendors and contractors.
  • You respond in a timely manner to tenants’ needs to meet lease obligations.
  • You support the property manager by preparing regular ownership reports with accuracy and on-time.
  • You successfully manage all administrative tasks, including work orders, service requests, rent and expense payments, property maintenance and vendor compliance requirements.

Who you are
You are a team player who is passionate about providing advice and guidance to business lines for many areas including employee engagement, performance management, training and development, onboarding and employee relations. You will also be responsible for handling employee questions and requests, always ensuring to resolve issues in a timely manner with the appropriate documentation. What you bring
• Degree and/or diploma in Human Resources Management
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience preferably in a Human Resources Generalist role
• Broad range of experience with HR programs and policies
• Able to deliver excellent client service at all levels of the organization and with external partners
• Possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills with a demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
• Ability to comfortably work in a dynamic environment – ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt easily to rapidly changing business conditions.

Bonus Skills and Experience
• A CHRP designation would be considered an asset
• Experience working in a multi-location matrixed organization
• Knowledge and understanding of Workday software
