The eCommerce site and mobile app can create a different and unique experience every time a user visits its pages. In collaboration with product and technical leadership, you will directly influence the roadmap, direction, and development of SPUD.ca, ensuring that user experience is best in class, friction points and performance concerns are addressed, and the service attracts, engages, and retains customers across our key markets.

SPUD.ca is an online grocery delivery business in Western Canada. We are a passionate team who believe that food touches every aspect of our lives, so we are advocates for sustainable farming practices, sourcing locally, treating animals humanely, and reducing food waste. • Defining a product strategy and roadmap with a minimum of a 12-month horizon, you will align and guide your teams to a successful outcome.
  • You will translate product strategy into detailed requirements for the design and engineering teams to execute against.
  • Building strong relationships across the business, you will collaborate with engineering and development, marketing, and design teams.
  • Working closely with the wider product group, you will make priority calls that promote the goals of the business over your individual product success.
  • You will be commercially minded, ensuring your feature development balances usability, profitability, and sustainability.
  • Additional duties as required.

Job requirements

  • You are fluent in eCommerce technologies and best practices and can demonstrate a history of success in evolving and launching engaging websites and presentation layer apps.
  • You can demonstrate an adept understanding of the eCommerce space, including strong knowledge of eGrocery.
  • Highly proficient at interpreting data, you leverage it as both a tool to communicate your product strategy and to make strong data-driven decisions.
  • eCommerce is a fast paced and constantly changing discipline, the ability to prioritize and show flexibility in your decision making is key.
  • You will need at least 5+ years as a Product Manager in eCommerce, working on relevant features and product lines.
  • Leading, communicating, and influencing cross-functional teams and key stakeholders will be central to your success in this role.
About You:
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, change, and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic, startup-like environment.
