To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for an Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our growing team, all while being a leading example of our company culture.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Enter sales orders and other data in the system;
Setup new accounts;
Validates the information on customer purchasing orders;
Coordinate and follow up on activities between the operations, procurement, logistics, finance teams within the company to ensure on time delivery to our customers by proactively working the daily backlogs;
Continued monitoring and follow up on backlogs in order to meet and exceed customer’s requirements;
Manage post-sales delivery requests and issues that would affect the delivery of goods to our customers;
Closely collaborate with the sales department for any post-sales activities and escalate problematic items that require immediate attention;
Proactively identify alternatives and solutions for problematic orders;
Assist internal departments with any change management requests required by the customers or the sales team.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

College Diploma;
1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
Extensive knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel;
Good written and verbal communication skills in English and French;
Must have good organizational skills;
Experience in a similar environment is an asset;
Attention to details.

This is a leadership role, with significant responsibilities in execution, and you will work closely with other key leaders across Hypertec.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction and management to the Receiving, Warehouse and Shipping teams;
  • Lead, train, coach, and motivate the team to deliver safely, efficiently, and timely the flow of material through the supply chain against SLA’s;
  • Maintain and develop metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training and safety records;
  • Implement, maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements;
  • Establishes, follows and enforces safety standards and procedures in compliance with a healthy work environment and legal requirements;
  • Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues;
  • Participate in carrier management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation;
  • Monitor product import and export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements;
  • Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery;
  • Direct distribution center operations to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy and timelines objectives;
  • Negotiate transportation rates and services & maintain current relationships with freight forwarders;
  • Analyse the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers;
  • Review global, national, or regional transportation or logistics reports for ways to improve efficiency or minimize the environmental impact of logistics activities;
  • Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios;
  • Direct outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, or logistics quality management;
  • Partner with and support Procurement on inbound logistics operations;
  • Conduct or review environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or transportation;
  • Implement and monitor carbon or environmental management, accounting, or audit systems;
  • Develop plans or set goals to reduce carbon emissions associated with storage or transport activities;

What You Will Bring

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership position in related field (Logisctifs/Warehouse) is mandatory;
  • SAP or ERP system experience is mandatory;
  • Bilingual English/French is mandatory;
  • Baccalaureate in Business Administration an asset;
  • Lean Six Sigma Green belt, knowledge in project management, lean principals and 5S an asset;
  • Must have interpersonal skills & a team player attitude and integrate seamlessly;
  • Must have a sense of responsibility and confidentiality;
  • Demonstrate passed achievements on logistics operations at a global level;
  • Sense of urgency and desire to make an impact;
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
