We’re currently looking for a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our core team, to design and build software applications that power the KitchenMate product experience and streamline our business operations.

Technical Requirements
Must have
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of software engineering experience on large or fast scaling products
Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
Backend development experience in Node/Express, or similar languages/frameworks
Experience with distributed systems (event-driven architecture / SOA / microservices)
Experience with front-end web frameworks such as AngularJS, React
Experience developing responsive front-end interfaces
Experience with relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases
Exposure to cloud infrastructure and operations (e.g. AWS, Heroku, CircleCI, docker)
Expert knowledge of web technologies (e.g. SCSS, Typescript, HTML, JSON, REST)
Familiar with test frameworks, continuous integration, and TDD
Experience with version control (e.g. git)
Strong communication and ability to collaborate well with other teams
Solid track record of overachieving

Experience building scalable, available, and low-latency systems

We’re currently looking for a talented Customer Experience & Advocacy Coordinator to join our core team to elevate the customer experience through personalized customer service, loyalty, and onboarding initiatives. As one of the first points of contact with our customers, you will be the eyes and ears of our customers, always advocate for them and carry forward our brand values.
You will be responsible for the following:
1. Customer Experience – Creating delightful human conversations and being the advocate for our customers
- Provide customers with personalized, prompt, helpful and empathetic support across various channels
- Proactively reach out to customers to surprise and delight them
- Attentively listen, be curious and ask questions to gain deep customer insights
- Identify technical, process or product issues and escalate to the appropriate internal teams. Following through on their resolution with the customer
- Leverage technology to automate and scale processes that consistently deliver a strong customer experience
- Present customer insights and report key KPIs (satisfaction score, response time, resolution time)
2. Customer Loyalty – Deeply understanding and empathizing with our customers to drive long term customer loyalty initiatives
- Customer discovery activities (research, engage, survey, interview, segment)
- Directly engage with customers to increase brand awareness, solicit feedback, understand purchase triggers and purchase deterrents
- Build customer advocacy/ambassador programs and build on-site brand loyalty
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns and growth marketing experiments
- Assist in design & content development (blog, social posts, emails, push notifications etc)
3. Customer Onboarding – Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to effectively introduce KitchenMate to new customers
- Coordinate and execute new client launches
- Conduct product demos and tasting sessions (when safe)
- Support end-customers through the onboarding phase of the product experience via chat, phone, tutorials, marketing automation etc
- Work cross-functionally to help improve the customer onboarding experience
About You
You must have:
- 1-2 years experience working in digital/phone customer service roles
- A thoughtful verbal and written communication style that inspires trust, builds rapport and tells a compelling story
- The ability to empathetically ask questions, be curious and dig deep to uncover the truth
- The innate desire to go above and beyond for customers and your team
- A bias to action and the ability to think quickly under pressure
- A genuine curiosity to investigate and identify the root-cause of issues
- Keen attention to detail
You should have:
- A passion for food, cooking, nutrition, health & wellness, and/or sustainability
- Strong desire to improve the employee experience
- Familiarity with a customer support tool (eg Intercom, Zendesk, Olark, Scout etc)
- Foundational food knowledge to able to communicate our dishes and ingredients
- A technological bent and eye for process automation
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills
