The mandate of Global L&D is to develop and execute a global learning strategy in partnership with both global and member firm leadership that builds the capabilities needed to achieve KPMG’s business strategies and priority annual business goals. Our Global Strategic Plans require a consistent, KPMG-wide approach to building the skills and competences needed to transform our business and achieve our goals of Growth and Trust. Global L&D will work closely with the business to identify, design/curate/develop, coordinate and deliver high quality, efficient and effective learning and performance support solutions directly aligned to KPMG’s needs and requirements.

Global L&D is responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of the L&D strategies for:
Global Audit, Global Tax and Global Advisory
Global strategic cross functional opportunities
We will do this by working with the business as performance consultants bringing together member firms to identify and design programs critical to support our global strategy in the most effective and cost-efficient manner. The audience for the performance and learning solutions provided by Global L&D is very diverse and encompasses all employees of KPMG globally – partners, professionals and support staff.

Solutions include performance and knowledge management support, formal training (both digital and in-classroom), learning on the job opportunities and learning through collaboration with others. Program execution and design will take place where it is most logical to occur and can include uplifting member firm solutions and co-creation with direct member firm involvement. As part of our mission, Global L&D will work with the business and member firm L&D teams to continue to build and
strengthen a continuous learning culture including channels for both formal and informal learning.

This also includes identifying and implementing new and innovative approaches to learning, such as a leveraging new and exciting digital learning solutions and appropriate learning and collaboration technology platforms with support from Global People Technology and Information Technology Services.

The Learning Deployment support role reports to the Learning Deployment Lead and is responsible for supporting administration activities for Deployment, including deployment communication, event management logistics for instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual classroom (VC) deployment activities for Global L&D deployment activities (Train the Trainers and other deployment/information sessions with member firms).

This role is responsible for supporting Performance Solutions functional leads, Project Leads, Instructional designers and Solutions developers/programmers in the various stages of the development and preparation of modules for deployment. This includes supporting the logistics and preparation of documents in the needs analysis phase; supporting solution pilots including collecting and collating feedback; preparing and uploading files for distribution to member firms and helping with the formatting of newsletters and documents.

This role is also responsible for the support and final preparation of learning solutions, communications and assets for consumption by KPMG member firms. This includes learning solutions developed for the Advisory, Tax, Audit functions or cross-functionally and deployed via the Global Learning Management System (GLMS) and/or Global L&D Marketplace, Video platform, etc…

This role also collaborate with the content coordinator on communications with and between member firms seeking specific content. This role also aligns with the content coordinator to manage the distribution of content and the maintenance of the content catalogue.

The Learning Deployment support person will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on multiple activities simultaneously, all with competing priorities and tight timelines.

What you will do:

Newsletters and Administration
Provides centralized coordination and support relating to the end to end delivery of the Global L&D curriculum
Supporting the collating and formatting of functional newsletters.
Daily monitoring of the central email accounts and responding to enquiries – act as central point of contact and is the conduit between learning deployment managers and business stakeholders, as required
Escalates risk and communicates issues in a timely and proactive manner
Deployment & Development support
Acts as support for Performance Solutions team to provide timely solutions and support to serve member firms deployment activities.
Supports the Learning Deployment Lead in maintaining Global deployment policies and processes
Needs analysis
Provides support for the needs-analysis process including:
Coordinating interviews.
Supporting feedback collation and summary of findings. Administers post- course surveys (e.g. MTM, GCSS) as well as other ad hoc surveys and produces the associated reports
Completing intake forms for new content releases, updating existing content/update releases.
Uploading materials from backup portal (if applicable).
Confirmation and quality check that all materials have been uploaded and are complete.
Content Catalogue
Works with the Content coordinator to search, access and share global content on the GLMS, Marketplace and functional member firm sharing sites, as applicable.
Supports the curation activities in gathering, curating, and uploading global and member firm content and responding to member firm requests.
Content Maintenance and Review
Works with the PS Lead, Curation and the Operations Content Manager to:
Maintain active knowledge and official inventory catalogue of all Global L&D learning and performance solutions and associated materials (e.g. course catalogues, collateral).
Facilitate and assess content to identify potential quality and need for further review
ILT support (Train the facilitator)
Ensures all Global L&D collateral and related course material is sent to the course lead in preparation for the course.
Communication and scheduling of pilot participants
Supports preparation, formatting, and branding of learning materials for course lead / faculty.
Engages with internal and external suppliers for name badges / tent card production.
Responsible for the creation and distribution of Accreditation letters to participants and faculty when required.
Manages the inventory and ensures timely delivery of supplies to training hubs prior to course start
Ensures course details are updated and available in order for learning deployment Manager to leverage this information in performance metrics reporting and dashboards.
Logging completion by participants (if digital)
VC support (Global L&D information VCs and virtual TTFs)
Creates session invites, joining instructions and post-course summaries for VC sessions in collaboration with the People Technology team
Sends placeholder invites as required, monitors acceptances and provides updates to the People Technology team
Builds and produces VCs as required.
Provides administration support of the platform to process program and session requests.
Works with learning deployment manager to update tools, templates and process documents on the Global virtual classroom resource center
Identifies areas of opportunity for process improvement based on data / feedback and works with the deployment team to implement improvements.
Maintains ongoing, productive relationships with:
Global People team
Global L&D
Member firm L&D representatives
Global functional stakeholders
Participates in internal forums, projects or working groups focused on continuous improvement of Global L&D processes
