Specific Accountabilities:

The Professor will be responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective environment through the design and revision of programs and courses, defining and evaluating learning outcomes, developing appropriate teaching and learning environments, and developing / selecting appropriate learning materials. You will be expected to support student learning and progress, as well as create assessments, rubrics, and evaluate student achievement. Participating in the development and modification of curriculum, participating in various committees, and keeping current in your field through consultation with business and industry representatives are essential components of this position. You will champion the development of customized training and educational programs in collaboration with public and private sector partners. Program promotion and student recruitment are also essential areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:

– A Master’s degree in a Social Services / Human Sciences field or Education is required
– A diploma in CYC/CYW is required
OACYC Certified Member is preferred
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience recent experience working as a Child and Youth Care Practitioner.
– 3 to 5 years teaching experience at the post-secondary level.

Additional Skills would be an asset:
Trauma Training
Mental Health Training e.g. ASSIST, SAFE Talk, Mental Health First Aid

About the Position:

This is a permanent Part-Time Support Staff Bargaining Unit Regular Part-Time (RPT) position working 12 hours per week at an hourly rate of $22.47/hr reporting to Sandy Boldt, Manager, Community Access Programs.

Specific Accountabilities:
• Assists in maintaining/updating office operating procedures.
• Provides clerical support by handling various general office processes such as maintaining petty cash, verifying/processing travel claims and attendance reports, maintaining filing systems, coordinating translation requests and assigning to external vendor and distributing official documents.
• Gathers, collates and reviews data submitted through surveys, reports etc. ensuring that they are completed in accordance with instruction provided by appropriate staff and preparing summaries, reports, etc.
• Collates receipts, verifies figures and checks for accuracy to ensure that claims adhere to college policies.
• Prepares and monitors purchase requisitions for the office, maintaining adequate office supplies.
• Participates in projects on behalf of the department staff and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a one-year College certificate in Office Administration or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related, progressive work experience is required
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and related computer applications

About the Position:
This is a temporary full-time Support Staff position replacing a bargaining unit employee, reporting to the Associate Director, The Lambton College Foundation, Alumni and Brand & Marketing Services working 35 hours per week at an hourly rate of $35.83 (Payband I) from April 2022 – December 2023.

Specific Accountabilities:
• Acts as a project manager for marketing services and coordinator on a wide range of projects. Tasks include scheduling, developing, planning, consulting, writing, editing, coordinating, and implementing marketing tactics and opportunities. This includes coordination of projects, meetings with departmental representatives, and tracking requested changes;
• In co-operation with marketing team members, investigates, plans, writes, edits and coordinates the creation and ongoing development of the corporate website content and navigation;
• Acts as a support for enrolment events or corporate initiatives;
• Coordinates the creation and production of specific and cyclical College publications, internal and external promotional materials and marketing projects;
• Provides technical, procedural, scheduling and/or other relevant direction to project team and others;
• Assesses web traffic patterns using google analytics, Crazy Egg and other statistical tools to better coordinate web projects
• Assists in raising awareness of Lambton and meeting enrolment/revenue targets;
• Assists the Director, Marketing, Communications & Brand Management with projects, as required.

Qualifications:
• Three-year post-secondary Marketing, Business, Communications or Journalism diploma or degree;
• Three or more years of experience in website Marketing coordination, project management, writing and editing marketing materials and web content, and development of publications;
• Three or more years of experience working in a fast-paced marketing and project-oriented environment, with a solid understanding of marketing plans and implementation, advertising, and social media which result in achievement of enrolment or revenue outcomes;
• Event planning experience as well as scheduling and planning experience;
• Proven ability to coordinate marketing projects from conception to completion;
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication (oral and written) skills to interact effectively with staff, students, target audiences and the public are all essential;
• Aware of the importance of and displays skill in providing timely and exemplary customer service to internal and external customers;
• Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills including the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines;
• Above average computer skills with a demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Google Analytics; familiarity with content management systems with particular emphasis on Ektron and Sitefinity; basic understanding of HTML;
• Able to work independently as well as in a team-oriented approach to accomplish goals;
• High level of initiative, enthusiasm and creativity; along with a strong aptitude for detail and accuracy;

About the Position:

The Manager, Counselling, Accessibility and Testing Services is responsible for providing leadership and direction over services that support student’s social, academic transition, and learning needs, including, Accessibility Services, Testing Services, and Counselling and Health Services. This full-time appointment to our Administrative Staff team carries a salary range of $91,792 to $122,390 per annum and includes a competitive pension and benefit package.

Specific Accountabilities:

Leadership and Oversight – Counselling, Accessibility and Testing Services
• Provides management, leadership, and oversight to the staff and operations of the counselling, health, accessibility and testing services across the college
• Determines service priorities for department including appropriate budget, resource needs, and staffing levels
• Consistent with the strategic plan and goals of the department, researches, assesses, and implements services to ensure efficiency and timeliness of service to students
• Ensures that departmental processes meet all legal requirements, including confidentiality
• Manages departmental budget and expense forecasting over multiple budget cycles
• Works with colleagues to create pathways for students to easily access other services on campus
• Works with the AVP, Student Success to determine and implement departmental priorities consistent with divisional and college directions
Counselling and Health Services
• Responsible for managing all counselling and health services across the college, this includes providing students with academic, career, mental health and crisis management counselling services
• Provides effective clinical supervision to counsellors, and proactively fosters individual and collective professional development opportunities for staff
• Develops strategies to guide decision-making in the area of development and implementation of strategies to address the needs of students with stress and mental illness. The goal of these strategies is to increasing the students’ likelihood of academic success; and liaises with other departments as appropriate.
Accessibility Services
• Responsible for managing all accessibility services across the college. This includes providing students access to services such as academic accommodation planning, learning strategies, testing and adaptive technology supports, amongst others. Ensures services are provided to support intake and assessment of student needs and referral to appropriate supports within the College or the community as needed.
Testing Services
• Plans, organizes and oversees the mature student admission assessment process, including on-site advisement and testing
• Oversees external and internal testing, including all Accessibility Testing
• Ensures that College policies, such as Academic Integrity, are upheld. In the event of non-compliance by Test Centre users, the Manager follows college protocol and consults with the AVP regarding taking appropriate action.

Qualifications:

• A Graduate Degree in Social Work, Counselling, or Clinical Psychology with in depth professional development of current counselling modalities and approaches applicable to the post-secondary context
• Registered to practice Psychotherapy in the Province of Ontario is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership position with experience in student and academic success services
• Management experience (i.e. human and financial resources), preferably in a unionized environment
• Familiarity with, and respect for, collegial organizational cultures is critical, as is strong emotional intelligence as a leader, with a strong sense of humour and a demonstrated ability to lead in an inclusive, collaborative, and consensus-building style
• A learning mindset, with proven ability to provide innovative solutions to complex business problems or challenging issues, and to follow through by facilitating or leading the implementation of these solutions
• Experience in coaching and developing teams and individuals to achieve their career goals and in building and maintaining a high performing, highly engaged team
• Exceptional communication skills in order to influence, negotiate, and build and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders

About the Position:This is a Part-Time Staff bargaining Unit – Regular Part Time (RPT) position working up to 17 hours per week at an hourly rate of $32.97, reporting to the Dean, Business, English & Liberal Studies.

Specific Accountabilities:• Ensure studio is maintained, tidy, safe, and ready for student use including communication with the Facilities Department as required
• Responsible for all aspects of studio equipment including but not limited to the storage and organization of equipment, submitting of and monitoring of equipment warranties
• Conduct regular equipment checks and complete regular equipment maintenance protocols
• Manage and coordinate the loan program for equipment
• Manage and coordinate the loan program of studio space
• Student contact for inquiries relating to studio or rental equipment
• Calibration of monitors
• Assist students in the printing process
• Communicate equipment, studio, and safety issues/concerns to the program coordinator/faculty
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:• Diploma, Degree or formalized education in Photography preferred
• Minimum one year experience with photography equipment

• Prior experience with industry-standard cloud computing platforms or DevOps tools and practices would be a definite asset;

Specific Accountabilities:

Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean / Campus Administrator, School of Fire Science as well as secretarial and receptionist support to the Campus.

Supports the Fire, Railway Conductor, Environmental Technician, Workplace Safety, and Occupational Health & Safety programs.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Manages confidential and routine correspondence including course outlines, tests and formal records.
Assist with course outline completion, course materials formatting, printing and publishing
Prepares reports and meeting minutes
Books travel arrangements and processes monthly credit card reconciliations
Distributes announcements, and responsible for communications with new students
Other general administrative duties including filing, invoicing, copying, shipping and mailing
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

2 year post-secondary Office Administration diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2 years experience in a professional administrative office environment
Experience with Colleague, COMMS, HRIS, JIRA and WebAdvisor an asset
