Position to commence in August.

Specific Accountabilities:
The Professor will be responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective environment through the design and revision of programs and courses, defining and evaluating learning outcomes, developing appropriate teaching and learning environments, and developing / selecting appropriate learning materials. You will be expected to support student learning and progress, as well as create assessments, rubrics, and evaluate student achievement. Participating in the development and modification of curriculum, participating in various committees, and keeping current in your field through consultation with business and industry representatives are essential components of this position. You will champion the development of customized training and educational programs in collaboration with public and private sector partners. Program promotion and student recruitment are also essential areas of responsibility.
Qualifications:
– A Master’s degree in a Social Services / Human Sciences field or Education is required
– A diploma in CYC/CYW is required
OACYC Certified Member is preferred
– Minimum of 5 years’ experience recent experience working as a Child and Youth Care Practitioner.
– 3 to 5 years teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
Additional Skills would be an asset:
Trauma Training
Mental Health Training e.g. ASSIST, SAFE Talk, Mental Health First Aid

About the Position:
This is a permanent Part-Time Support Staff Bargaining Unit Regular Part-Time (RPT) position working 12 hours per week at an hourly rate of $22.47/hr reporting to Sandy Boldt, Manager, Community Access Programs.
Specific Accountabilities:
• Assists in maintaining/updating office operating procedures.
• Provides clerical support by handling various general office processes such as maintaining petty cash, verifying/processing travel claims and attendance reports, maintaining filing systems, coordinating translation requests and assigning to external vendor and distributing official documents.
• Gathers, collates and reviews data submitted through surveys, reports etc. ensuring that they are completed in accordance with instruction provided by appropriate staff and preparing summaries, reports, etc.
• Collates receipts, verifies figures and checks for accuracy to ensure that claims adhere to college policies.
• Prepares and monitors purchase requisitions for the office, maintaining adequate office supplies.
• Participates in projects on behalf of the department staff and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of a one-year College certificate in Office Administration or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related, progressive work experience is required
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office and related computer applications
