Job Description
As a part-time member of the Food & Beverage Purchasing, Warehousing & Distribution team, you will be helping to support the purchasing and receiving of food and beverage for several MLSE operations and locations, ensuring the delivery of winning fan service to all guests. You will also assist the team with variety of administration duties for all MLSE food and beverage outlets. Your passion and commitment to teamwork will contribute to ensuring our vision to win that is integral to our business.

Receive requisitions from MLSE’s food and beverage team and convert into purchase orders.
Verify all details & specifications of each order and ensure accuracy/attention to detail.
Occasional need to source and fulfill new product requests not found in inventory system.
Assist in the extraction and preparation of data and reporting.
Update vendor bids relating to food commodity ingredients in inventory system.
Ability to monitor and follow-up on receiving of products as per required timelines.
Assist with obtaining invoices from suppliers and ensuring accuracy with purchase orders.
Carry out administrative functions as directed by Manager.
Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested.
Qualifications
Must be flexible at times to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required given MLSE’s evolving event-based schedule
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word and Inventory Control Software
Good understanding of inventory flow, ensuring prompt and accurate processing of all facets
Prior purchasing/order control experience is an asset
Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and administrative skills
Food & beverage industry knowledge or experience is an asset
A positive, winning approach, incorporating integrity, confidentiality and discretion

Job Description

As a valuable member of the Retail and Merchandise team in, you will elevate our fan experience within Real Sports Apparel, and create extraordinary moments for our fans and our employees.  Your approach to retail sales goes beyond just a sale as you create an individualized, seamless, safe and fun fan experience.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in “REAL” Training.
  • Attend weekly coaching sessions and daily 5-minute meeting with Manager.
  • Attain sales budgets as well as UPT and Sales per/hr goals.
  • Greet fans promptly and enthusiastically; assist fans with store purchases.
  • Provide friendly and informed response to inquiries.
  • Ensure merchandise is neat and attractively displayed.
  • Stock and re-stock shelves; count inventory.
  • Ensure cleanliness of store at all times.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as required.
  • Operate POS cash register; handle cash accurately and provide change.
  • Keep work area and equipment clean and organized.
  • Perform other administrative or service functions as required.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies.

Our team is seeking a hardworking, committed, and enthusiastic Game Presentation Coordinator to join our high energy staff and become a leader in the sports and entertainment industry. The Coordinator, Game Presentation’s responsibilities will be primarily focused on the Toronto Football Club (TFC), TFC II and Toronto Argonauts (Argos).

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with marketing, and global partnership department to handle TFC and Argonauts in game promotions and serves as the game night Field Producer for all TFC, TFC II and Argos home preseason, regular season and playoff games
  • Coordinate the organization, production, and execution of all assets for game nights
  • Work closely with other departments (i.e. Sponsorship, Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Community Relations) to help activate department objectives
  • Field Producer will work well with fans and learn about the operations of professional and amateur sports teams by working home games
  • Aid in developing an entertaining in-game presentation experience for the fans of Toronto
  • Available to work scheduled home games or events including evenings, weekends, and holidays

When in-office hours are required, will be located at 50 Bay Street (Toronto), Coca-Cola Coliseum (Toronto), BMO Field (Toronto), BMO Training Ground or remotely.

Qualifications

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and encouraging working relationships
  • Must be willing to multi-task, balance multiple projects at once, be self-directed, work independently and handle creative direction/feedback.
  • Must be able to work well in a collaborative group environment, be a flexible and reliable teammate (both within own department and within company as a whole)
  • While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach, kneel, talk and hear.

Overview

As Director of Business Strategy & Innovation, you will provide thought leadership and lead MLSE’s business strategy practice as part of the MLSE Digital Labs Strategy & Analytics team. You will be responsible for key functions such as strategic planning, project management, commercial strategy and Digital Labs business operations.

Our Business Strategy & Innovation team acts as internal consultants, analysts and project managers working cross functionally across MLSE. As a leader of the group you will collaborate with senior leaders across MLSE to drive an integrated strategy planning process with attribution to KPIs such as fan acquisition, fan engagement and revenue. You will identify and lead execution of very cool projects and activities that make us smarter, more connected to our fans and drive amazing experiences and business results.   • Leadership of the Business Strategy & Innovation Team
  • Manage a leadership team that oversees key functions such as:
  • Strategy & Planning – evaluation of new initiatives, support of integrated strategic planning processes across the organization, supporting Digital Labs business operations
  • Project Management – executing projects with effective change management
  • Commercial Innovation & Operations – supporting Digital Labs commercial business ventures including DropShop, Digital Arena & Future of Sport Lab
  • Collaborating with internal partners (e.g. Ticketing, Global Partnerships, Food & Beverage, Retail, Marketing, etc.) on key enterprise priorities
  • Supporting Digital Labs business updates such as Board of Directors communication, external industry activities and commercial partners
  • Non-technical communication of recommendations, to key partners and senior leadership
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to understand and analyze business needs and goals
  • Working with other leaders across the Digital Labs Strategy & Analytics team to build an integrated, data driven, strategic planning and execution model that drives organizational effectiveness, developing a sustainable KPI scorecard aligned to strategic plans, key priorities and top initiatives
