Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities that align with Industry Solutions’ products and services
- Connect with Aboriginal customers directly through a variety of inputs (in person, phone, chats, email, etc.).
- Conduct needs assessments to develop appropriate solutions for clients and engage in development of custom and tailored training for clients.
- Develop, recommend, and implement strategies, solutions, and plans for Aboriginal clients
- Provide guidance on sales processes and procedures
- Maintain and manage a pipeline of interested prospects
- Qualify and nurture quality leads
- Help manage lead generation campaigns to target new prospects
- Present NAIT’s products and services to potential clients
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to travel 25% of the time with possible overnights required
- Proposal writing (experience in Indigenous Proposals preferred)
- Understanding of Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada TRC, Indian Act
- Cultural sensitivity (trauma awareness preferred)
- Strong and confident communication skills (verbal and written)
- Effective at building relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of interpreting moderately complex situations and ability to implement a plan/solution
- Skilled in prioritizing work to align with department objectives
- Knowledge of related department policies and procedures
- Knowledge of applicable software and tech-savvy
- Organizational skills
- Ability to initiate, develop and maintain professional relationships
- Proven experience in customer service, business development, sales, or a similar role
- Strong and confident communication skills (verbal and written)
- Motivated to reach goals and sales targets
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with a wide range of clients
Qualifications:
- Related bachelor’s degree or diploma or equivalent combinations of education and/or experience
- At least 3 years of success in a sales or business development role, with a history of exceeding sales goals

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- lead the planning and implementation of projects
- facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- develop full scale project scopes, tasks and resource requirements
- lead human resource planning and retention efforts
- manage project budget
- manage project resource allocation
- plan and schedule project timelines
- track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- provide direction and support to project team
- engage with the partnership representatives on the ongoing project delivery process and delivery
- supervise direct reports
- Oversee the collection of metrics and spearhead reporting efforts
- Act as a responsible member (RM) with regards to Engineering professional standards and authentication of materials pertaining to wireless 5G technologies
Skills & Abilities:
- Solid understanding of digital communication and wireless principles.
- Knowledge on Cellular network designs and architectures.
- Familiarity with 5G and related elements, including Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
- Ability to navigate the funding environment available to post-secondary institutions
- Comprehensive knowledge on cellular network technologies and protocols.
- Working knowledge on cellular IoT networks.
- Knowledge of cellular technology and applicable regulations, such as those set out by industry Canada including bandwidth allocations and spectrum licensing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years direct work experience in project management capacity
- Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management
- Qualification in project management or equivalent with knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Professional engineer willing to act as responsible member in the practice of communications and other related fields.
- Experience with leading a team with varied experience levels
- Experience in customer and business development activities will be considered an asset
