What we are looking for

You will take ownership of the day-to-day management and hands on execution of various outside-of-the-box growth marketing initiatives, with a particular focus on influencer marketing, content marketing and social media marketing. The ideal candidate is a creative analytical thinker that is passionate about financial markets, and Quantfury’s product values – dignity, decency, honesty, and transparency.

Your qualifications and skills

3+ years experience in content / growth marketing
Excellent writing and editing skills
Proven experience managing marketing initiatives from ideation to post-launch
Developing frameworks, guidelines, and processes to help define and improve product content
Experience defining, tracking, and reporting on content metrics and ability to communicate this efficiently to the team
Experience in the planning and execution of paid social media ads is an advantage
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A portfolio or selection of writing samples and past work to share
Deep interest in finance, trading, and investing
Proficiency in languages other than English (Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Turkish) is an advantage

What you should know

Starting Date: Immediately

You will be working in an office located at Bloor/Yonge. Our Walk and Transit Scores are both 100/100. Successful candidates must have legal authorization to work in Canada on a full-time basis for any employer.

If hired and after the completion of the probation period, you may be offered to relocate to Quantfury headquarters in the Bahamas, with a full relocation package.

The Opportunity

The Finance Team performs critical functions for our organization. You will perform all tasks related to invoice coding and payments matching, communicating with suppliers and vendors, and supporting the financial reporting tasks and many other accounting activities. This is perfect for a recent graduate with an Accounting Degree/Diploma with 1-3 years of experience in an accounting role.

You will be a member of the Company’s finance team, working from our downtown Toronto office on a hybrid remote schedule and closely with senior leadership across the globe, across various functions. You are both comfortable working on your own and comfortable working with teams!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring all invoices are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Coding expenses to correct general ledger accounts and following up to obtain and document approvals as necessary.
  • Verify vendor statements periodically and contact vendor for copies of missing invoices.
  • Enter invoices into system with correct vendor name, date, amount, invoice number, and general ledger coding.
  • Record employee expenses, maintain records and follow up to obtain needed supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and create vendor records for new suppliers.
  • Responsible for classifying and recording journal entries for all credit card related transactions.
  • Prepare bank account and credit card reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  • Regular review of A/P aging report and follow up with appropriate business leads.
  • Record-keeping and filing of company documents and invoices.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting tasks as assigned.
  • Assist with financial analysis on special projects, both short and long-term as assigned.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve, streamline, and automate processes related to the role.

What You Bring

  • Accounting Degree/Diploma
  • 1-3 years of accounting experience
  • Accurate data entry an integral part of the role
  • Working knowledge of QBO and Hubdoc is a strong asset
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
