Main Duties

Reporting to the Manager IT Infrastructure & Architecture, this position supports and contributes to the Security of SIGA infrastructure assets by proactively assessing infrastructure configurations, hygiene level, design/architecture and operational delivery of security related activities for network and cloud infrastructure to ensure high levels of availability, system integrity, security, privacy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include: develop strategies, policies, standards and procedures. Assess, monitor and optimize the infrastructure security for system and data confidentiality, integrity, high availability, capacity and performance of services. Support the network, software, systems and tools. Carry out a wide variety of system maintenance, management and support activities. Participate in other projects and activities as required.

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).

Qualifications
Education

Degree or diploma in Computer Science or a related discipline. A suitable combination of education and experience will also be considered.
One or more of the following certifications will be considered a strong asset.

Current ISC2 certification in one of the following; SSCP – Systems Security Certified Practitioner, CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional, CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional
Current GIAC Global Information Assurance Certification in one of the following; GSOC – GIAC Security Operations Certified, GMON – GIAC Continuous Monitoring, GCDA – GIAC Certified Detection Analyst
Current ISACA certification in one of the following; CISM – Certified Information Security Manager, CSX-P – Cybersecurity Practitioner Certification
Current Cisco certification in one of the following; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security, Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional Certification, CCIE – Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Security
Current EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH)
ITIL Foundations.
Experience

Experience conducting vulnerability assessment, Incidence response, Threat Hunting and Cyber Threat Intelligence and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) for similar size enterprise IT environment
Strong problem determination, communication, prioritization and escalation skills
Experience working with Endpoint Detection and Response tool, Email Security Gateway, and enterprise-class hardware including servers and storage
Experience identifying threat vectors and performing network investigations
Experience monitoring current and emerging threats to preemptively defend information asset
Experience with risk management, identity and access management, communication and network security, security assessment and testing and security operations
Experience working with security information and event management (SIEM)
Experience with Azure and O365 security.
Current technical knowledge of: Cisco Technologies (Routing & Switching and Wireless), Microsoft Windows Server, VMware Infrastructure, Microsoft O365 and Azure Security.
Knowledge of administering, maintaining, and supporting the following Next-Generation Security solutions; anti-virus/malware, email security/spam filtering, client-server and firewalls.
Knowledge of performance monitoring, security hardening, log analysis tools and techniques.

Reporting to the Casino Shift Manager, this position ensures that the customer facing services are provided to casino guests by supervising Guest Services department staff and activities.

Customer services include: shuttle services, coat check, Players Club and Marketing initiatives. SIGA is seeking an individual who is experienced with analysis, configuration, and troubleshooting coupled with hands-on experience administering IT network and communications infrastructure to join the IT Infrastructure team. Qualifications

Education:

Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma in a related technical field, such as Computer Systems Technology. Current CompTIA certification in one of the following (Network+, Security+) is required. Current Palo Alto Networks Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) certification and current Cisco CCNA certification in one of the following (Routing & Switching, Wireless, Collaboration) are considered assets.

An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting a similar size enterprise IT environment.

Experience managing and maintain complex TCP/IP networks with multiple routing protocols such as e/iBGP, EIGRP, OSFP and IP Multicast.

Demonstrated excellence in documenting complex enterprise level systems, processes, and proactively sharing and communicating complex technical information.

Hands-on skills and technical proficiency in routing and switching, network topologies, applicable software, problem determination, and troubleshooting techniques.

Experience with network segregation, both logical and physical

Extensive hands-on working experience and knowledge of current operating systems (Windows and LINUX), Cisco (IOS, NX-OS and IOS-XE), current network applications, all network layers, routing, switching and related protocols (TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, SFTP, FTP, SSH, TELNET, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, IPv6 and RMON etc.).

Current technical knowledge of: internet and network technologies such as: firewalls, routing, wireless, switching, VPNs and tunneling, VLANs, Quality of Service, traffic policing and shaping.

Knowledge of configuring, administering and supporting the following solutions: Cisco Unified Communications including Call Manager, Contact Center, Unity, SIP, voice gateways and cube routers, Cisco Wireless Controllers and Cisco Secure Access Control System.

Knowledge of monitoring for availability, capacity, performance and security.

General knowledge of network provider, carrier and cloud services.
