Together with leading the SAE team, the Business Development Manager, End User Digital Plant will be responsible to lead the Software Business Develop team to achieve the software sales target through close collaboration with AVEVA, AVEVA partners and the Schneider Electric Sales Organization.

An essential responsibility of the Business Development Manager, End User Digital Plant is to build and maintain an effective team of technical experts that will support sales to win new business by focusing on application selling at a machine solution level.

Being able to work in an Ecosystem is essential for this role. Business Development Manager, End User Digital Plant will need to build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners in the territory and also build a network of System Integrators (SI’s). The individual in this role will also need to work collaboratively with all business units and teams inside Schneider Electric Canada.

Role Overview

The Executive Assistant plays a key role at Schneider Electric. Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Engineering field. An MBA would be a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing, product development or related field.
  • Extensive and proven experience in the HVAC industry. Knowledge of key applications is a must. Knowledge of Environmental Sensors and/or Thermostats, current and emerging sensing technologies would be a plus.
  • Experience in developing and managing technology partners and external suppliers would be a plus.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to have perspective on all aspects of the business (commercial, finance, supply chain, …).
  • Ability to synthesize market and customer feedback; comfortable with making tradeoffs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Teamworking and collaboration capabilities.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in using productivity tools.
  • Experience of working with different time zones (Europe, Middle-East and Asia).
  • Ability to travel (20 – 30%).
