ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Working as an integral part of the Ayas Men Men Child & Family Services Department, this position reports directly to the Team Leader – Early Intervention/Family Programs, this position is responsible for providing hands-on support to ensure effective inclusion of children with developmental delays and disabilities for the Mother Bear Child Development Centre. The incumbent provides approved activities/strategies for children outlined by the Supported Child Development Officer or intervention team. This position supports individualized intervention plans by providing updates to team on children’s interactions and if activities/strategies are working or not. The position acts as a support worker assistant, who ensures children who require extra support can fully participate in the child care setting.
