The Accounts payable Clerk will be responsible for processing vendor invoices and vendor statement reconciliation on time so payments are made according to the terms. The position will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and will be in Toronto, ON.

What You’ll Do:

Review, Enter and post customer refunds request in Great plains and Process payments (EFT, Cheque, Wire)
Review all refunds request/invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
Communicate with Vendors/Customers and reconcile discrepancies
Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with policy and accepted accounting practices
Record all cheques, EFTs, credit card payments and wire transfers. Prepare for mailing and maintain filing of accounts payable
Audit and process credit card statements
Verify transactions to comply with financial policies and procedures
Manage and distribute incoming e-mails
Other duties and projects as requested

What You’ll Need:

Minimum 1 year experience in accounts payable.
Fast learner and ability to lead the team when needed.
Excellent computer skills & MS office along with experience in accounting packages
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment under tight deadlines

What You’ll Do:

Analyze and investigate all claims received pertaining to service/product concerns with suppliers.
Communicate externally with contracted suppliers for compensation direction on claims received; frequently following-up for responses in order to meet customer expectations.

About You:
As the Jr. Quality Assurance Analyst, you will ensure the highest level of quality for software products and solutions including supporting System Integration Testing, Performance Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You are involved in pre and postproduction activities and other deliverables. You may also be responsible for project management as needed to ensure the quality of changes going into the production environment.
What You’ll Do:
  • Work collaboratively with BAs, product owners and developers to ensure the understanding of the overall intent of project.
  • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
  • Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts.
  • Comply with company’s QA standards; provide daily test execution progress and technical reports on testing when required.
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results.
  • Act as a bridge between BAs and programmers, while keeping the end user’s experience in mind during all phases of the project.
  • Communicate defects and issues in a concise, timely and professional manner. Assist development with reproducing defects under investigations.
  • Work collaboratively among different teams to develop and improve QA processes.
  • Conduct API testing to confirm functionality, reliability, performance and security of all interfaces involved in project.
  • Prioritize identified issues with developers and BAs to ensure issues are addressed efficiently.
  • Conduct regression testing at each phase of pre-production to continually identify potential issues.

About You:

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing projects and operations for the corporate IT Operations team and will lead the migration of on-prem infrastructure to Azure cloud. This includes the project planning, implementation, maintenance, security and support of the network, server, data center and cloud infrastructure and projects at Sunwing Travel Group and the day to day management of the associated technical personnel, from a project management perspective.   • To coordinate with vendors and manage orders and delivery schedules in the sourcing, supply, installation and commissioning of infrastructure hardware and software for project related activities.
  • To work with the Infrastructure team, Infrastructure Architecture and the IT Operations leadership to ensure a robust, stable, reliable, resilient and scalable infrastructure with a comprehensive set of operational metrics, from a project management perspective.
  • To ensure that the activities of the Infrastructure team align to the business goals of the project.
  • To manage the day to day activities of the project teams, including time tracking and management, ticket management and task assignment, performance and completion, compliance to technical and documentation standards as well as daily, weekly, monthly and other periodic and ad hoc status and progress reports on tickets, tasks and projects.
  • To measure team member performance at regular intervals, and coach, motivate and improve team member performance in collaboration with the Director, IT Infrastructure

With sometimes very little advanced warning, you can meet the demands of long work hours, weekends, and travel abroad as required. You will report directly to the Vice President, Flight Operations.

What You’ll Do:

Ensure that safety is the primary objective by adhering to the Sunwing safety policy and utilizing the appropriate safety reporting program in order to identify and communicate all known hazards and risks to the organization
Maintain all regulatory requirements with regards to the Canadian Air Operator Certificate, FAA Operations Specifications, EASA TCO, and other foreign regulatory jurisdictions where Sunwing operates
Qualify for and be the delegated as the Transport Canada “Chief Pilot” for all regulatory and operational matters
Provide leadership for the development and/or implementation of all required approved training programs for Sunwing pilots
Be accountable for developing and/or maintaining Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and ensuring adherence via oversight of overall Standards
Oversee deployed operations, which will include liaising with the management of partner operators
Provide oversight of Flight Operations regulatory and technical matters for importing/exporting aircraft
Responsible for the monitoring tracking of regulatory changes (Transport Canada, EASA, FAA), etc.
Liaise with the aircraft manufacturer and other service providers with respect to issuing of amendments to the appropriate type related procedures, systems, performance, and planning sections of the Flight Crew Operating Manual
Coordinate with the Director, Line Operations and provide input to the Safety Department regarding safety reports and safety occurrences
Oversee acceptability of proposed airports and routes of the operation
In conjunction with the Vice President, Flight Operations, liaise with the Maintenance and Engineering Department in reviewing proposed amendments to type MEL
Be responsible for the review and issuance of Flight Operations Bulletins (FOB), Technical Memos (FOTM), Administrative Memos (FOAM), and Company NOTAMS, as required
Monitor the compilation of and editing of operations bulletins, manual supplements, and ensuring confirmation of receipt, as applicable
Serve as a central point of contact and resource for Transport Canada and Flight Operations for all submissions, revisions, bulletins, and approvals
Coordinate with the Director, Line Operations to provide oversight of Flight Operations Publication and Library staff including publication distributions
Assist the Vice President, Flight Operations in the allocation of resources both human and financial
Chair the Standards Committee
Performing Emergency Response responsibilities as required
Operate as a Captain, line flying 200 hours annually
Assuming any additional responsibilities as delegated by the Vice President, Flight Operations
In his absence, all responsibilities for duties shall be delegated to another qualified Flight Operations Manager

What You’ll Need:

Hold a valid Canadian ATPL
Have at least three (3) years’ aviation management experience, preferably with Flight Operations Management in a CAR 705 (or equivalent) airline
Have a least five (5) years’ experience with a CAR 705 (or equivalent) airline
Have a minimum of 5,000 hours as a pilot on large turbojet aircraft (or equivalent military experience)
Experience as a supervisory pilot (Training Captain or Check Pilot) is an asset
Have strong and demonstrated leadership skills
Be able to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations, FAA regulations, and EASA regulations
Be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Sunwing Airlines policies and procedures
Be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of Safety Management Systems, and a working knowledge of Risk Management and Quality Assurance
Have strong written and verbal communication skills
Have demonstrated capability for managing complex problems in a dynamic aviation environment
Project management experience is an asset
A proven track record of working constructively with a variety of airline stakeholders
