Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Resorts, this position will be responsible for implementing revenue management strategies and processes in order to maximize property revenues.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Departments to ensure the best exposure for current and future offers.
  • Liaise regularly with each Guest Services Manager to review contracted group blocks and booking channels.
  • Create, develop, and execute pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each hotel, ensuring parity across all channels.
  • Remain current with industry trends and understand their potential impacts on the various market segments.
  • Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons.
  • Responsible for implementation and proper tracking of new initiatives/offers at four resort properties.
  • Ensure hotel personnel are fully competent in the use of all systems embedding a revenue management culture.
  • Regularly check the input and the quality of data (segmentation, denials tracking, etc.) points.
  • Evaluate performance of distribution partners and contracted rates (OTA, FIT, tour operator, corporate, consortia, crew, groups, etc.)
  • Responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing training on new technologies as they become available.
  • Create and maintain a 13 month rolling demand/ pick up calendar.

Qualifications:

  • Innovative, with a passion for new technology.
  • Comprehensive experience with Room Master/InnQuest.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel.
  • Previous Hotel Revenue experience required.
  • Exceptional analytical and numeric skills for fast data crunching.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a highly pressured environment.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of leadership.
  • Excellent knowledge & experience with various technologies including PMS, GDS, Extranets, Travel Click, Channel Manager & CRS systems.
