Job Description
.The Assistant Director will work alongside the Director to learn the tasks of the job in preparation to step into the Director’s position in the following year. From January to April the Assistant Director will work 5 hours per week. During this time duties will include writing grant proposals, scheduling workshops and hiring summer staff . From May to August the Assistant Director will work full-time supervising staff , performing administrative duties, overseeing curriculum development, fundraising (grant applications), marketing, delivering workshops and camps, as well as working with parents, campers and instructors to solve problems. From September to December the Assistant Director will work part-time 5 hours per week to conclude summer programming reports. The expectation is that the Assistant Director will transition to Director the following year.
The Assistant Director of Eureka! must have prior experience working with children in an educational or camp setting.
Must be a current student at TRU in at least a 4-year program.
The candidate must possess people management skills, and expertise and must also be competent with word processing, data management and have strong written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description
The Department of Computing Science (www.tru.ca/science/programs/compsci) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant teaching professor. The candidate should be able to teach a wide variety of undergraduate courses, including directed studies and project courses.

QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must hold an earned PhD in Computing Science or closely related area.
Ability to teach undergraduate students is required.
Prior university-level teaching experience in Computing Science and evidence of a strong record of teaching with potential for excellence in teaching are preferred.
The department encourages applications from new PhD holders wishing to start a university teaching career.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
