Qualifications:
CFAA considered a strong asset
2 years’ experience in Fire Alarm System Support or equivalent
Post-Secondary Education in Electronic Technician Program or equivalent

Our Edmonton branch is looking for an experienced CAD Operator/Designer to join their team! The ideal candidate will be proficient in Auto CAD 2 D & 3 D and will interpret/create engineering drawings based on sales input with the intent to submit for engineer stamping/approval.
Responsibilities:
Revise engineering drawings from red lines & markups received from the sales team
Import PDFs, Excel Worksheets and embed OLE objects and x-references into Auto CAD
Create Tables within Auto CAD and extract data as needed
Clear flattened 3D Engineering drawings of un required building details (plumbing, HVAC, mill work, etc.)
Export PDFs & DWFs for field verification and approval
Complete and review work to ensure high level of accuracy
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in electrical line diagrams
Experience in document control & data management systems
Ability to work independently, manage assigned work and meet time sensitive deadlines
Experience in life safety industry/technical fire alarm sales considered a strong asset
Working knowledge of scaling, layers, view ports, line weight, external references & blocks
Proficient Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel required
