Client Success Manager

ABOUT YOU
As a Client Success Manager, you will guide the client success team on all support activities related to new implementations, training, or issues with our platforms. Ideally, you will bring a strong background in supporting technology solutions with a road paved in happy customers. As an experienced member of the team, you don’t mind rolling up your sleeves to take on the tougher challenges and sharing the load that is on the Client Success Coordinators by working through some tickets when the need arises. This means you are a person who LOVES problem-solving, teaching, and working with others to ensure they have the best experience possible. We will heavily rely on you to bring new ideas and client feedback to us, so we are continually evolving our software to be the most client-friendly option available. You know that there are never problems and only solutions, and you thrive in a busy environment where quick decisions sometimes must be made.
As a part of your role, you will be responsible for client success process development and their ongoing improvements. To accomplish this, you will work directly with our product teams; this includes a mix of developers, product managers, business analysts, and our product owner. We like to think we are a fun group, so a sense of humour is always a benefit to bring to the table. In terms of technical knowledge, you will definitely need to have some, be comfortable talking with our software engineers and translating the ones and zeros into language that our customers will understand.
  • Ensure that all client tickets are addressed quickly, with clear communications and results in happy customers
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and develop dynamic solutions for our clients connecting their business needs with solutions that can be configured and implemented on our software platforms
  • Oversee and manage all support tickets, implementations, and projects to ensure on-time delivery and make sure resources are on track
  • Develop and optimize our client success processes in Jira to drive ongoing improvement to ensure quality and efficiency standards are maintained
  • Work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Product Owner Teams to ensure that clients are receiving a positive 360° experience with Trufla and our products prior, during and post-purchase
  • Communicate with clients delivering status reports, gathering requirements, and managing approvals.
  • Validation of changes and new features prior to release and notification to clients
  • Collaborate with product teams to provide information related to application usage and performance of support activities
  • Nurture our client’s success with our products – coaching clients to increase adoption of the systems
  • Manage client onboarding, offboarding and support procedures
  • Create and maintain supporting documents and training videos
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years experience in a similar role, preferably within a marketing agency, technology company, or professional services firm
  • Proven track record managing client relationships
  • Demonstrates initiative and decision-making skills
  • Experience with client-facing support for technology solutions
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications and collaboration tools like SharePoint and Jira

  • Manage the product roadmap and priorities for the success of the product
  • Create, maintain & communicate the client focused requirements to the business analysis, user experience, user interface and development teams
  • Gather and analyze insights from client feedback, competitors, peers and the insurance industry
  • Create and maintain the client backlog
  • Prioritize backlog features for development sprints
  • Help organize sprint reviews
  • Participate in sprint planning sessions
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, executive owner, and team members
  • Gather and document user stories that clearly articulate the business systems function and requirements
  • Collaborate with communications, sales, account management and support to ensure clients needs are being met and used as an input to prioritize activities to build a strong product

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary degree or significant equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Ownership, Product Management or Software Engineering
  • Experience in the Canadian P & C insurance industry or financial industry a huge asset
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies
  • Experience working within Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence
